This permanent dry stone structure stands over 12 feet high and incorporates nearly 20 tons of random found stone and squared quarried limestone. This feature commemorated the 70th year of the Niagara School of Horticulture. Built over three days by several professional wallers and enthusiastic helpers, it was a great learning experience. Having never attempted something of this nature, the final result was truly inspiring. Situated within the centre of the student gardens, everyone agreed it was a wonderful addition to the beautiful surroundings.
