The Fanshawe College student chapter of Landscape Ontario and A.M. Cuddy Gardens presents -
‘A Dry Stone WallingWorkshop’ in Strathroy Ontario
A a two-day beginner seminar at the A.M. Cuddy garden in Strathroy, Ontario.
This event involved students in creating a very important structure and landscape feature in one of Southern Ontario’s outstanding gardens.
This is a picture of a recent dry stone wall workshop taught by Patrick Callon of Fanshawe College near London Ontario. This wall will be 65' x 6' and will consume close to 80 tons when it is completed. The Horticulture Technician students will finish the construction in the fall of 2009.
There have been several open house type tours of the Cuddy Garden showcasing the wall to more than 1000 people since mid May.
